Dell Announces Two New Models of Alienware Area 51 Desktops

Wait for this year’s E3 is finally over and several tech companies have introduced different products targeted towards gamers. Dell on the other hand, has announced several Alienware gaming products during the event. And earlier today, the company has introduced two new Area 51 desktops, monitors and several other accessories.

While AMD Threadripper was announced few weeks back and we are eagerly waiting to get our first glimpse of the performance. However, Dell has announced the Area 51 desktops powered by the Threadripper or Intel Core i9 processor.  The company confirmed that the device will be exclusive OEM launch partner to deliver first pre-built system featuring the Threadripper processor. However, if you don’t want the latest AMD processor, then you can choose Intel Core i9 processor to power your system. While the new models of desktops sound promising, you will need to wait more than a month to get your hands on the computers as AMD model will be available on 27th of July. If you want the Core i9 model, then the wait will be even longer as the Intel model will be released on August 22.

In addition to the new desktop models, Dell also announced two new 25-inch gaming monitor with full HD screen. The monitors according to the company is perfect for gaming as both of the models have a 1ms response time along with support for Nvidia G-Sync or AMD FreeSync technology. If you want to get your hands on the new monitors, then you will need to spend quite a bit as pricing for the monitors falls between $499 and $699.

Lastly, the company also introduced several gaming accessories. The company unveiled its ‘Advanced Gaming Keyboard’ and ‘Pro Gaming Keyboard’. While both of the keyboards feature similar functionality, the ‘Pro Gaming Keyboard’ adds a dedicated volume controller along with RGB lighting. The Advanced Gaming Keyboard comes at $89.99 while the Pro Gaming Keyboard is available for $199.99. In addition to two keyboards, the company also announced two different models of gaming mouse. The Advanced Gaming Mouse is available for $49.99 and the Elite Gaming Mouse is available for $89.99. According to the company, the elite model is suitable for gaming thanks to its several game ready features. Apart from that, the model features 14 programmable buttons which makes the mouse perfect for MMO gaming.
