Marvel has managed to create a failsafe method with the movies set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 rocking at the box office around the world, the studio has decided to drop the teaser trailer for Black Panther during the NBA finals. While there was a lot of rumors in the previous months regarding the movie, with the first trailer, we finally get to see what the movie is all about as the movie is centered on the story of Chadwick Boseman’s character after the events from the Captain America: Civil War.
If the trailer is anything to go by, then the movie is sure to be a massive hit given that the movie is clearly different from other movies from the studio. Black Panther is the first movie to feature African American cast members at a larger scale. The storyline of the movie talks about the aftermath of Civil War as T’Challa returns home to the take throne as king. However, when an old enemy returns, T’Challa’s character is forced to enter a conflict that puts his home and entire world at risk.
When the movie was first announced, everyone considered the movie to be a risky business for Marvel. However, the studio has proven itself in last several years by bringing movies based on comic book characters which are relatively less known. For example, when projects like Ant-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange came out, they became highly popular largely thanks to brand recognition of MCU. As a result, Black Panther is set to be a massive hit when it hits theater on February 16, 2018.
The cast members of the upcoming movie contains several talented performers with Chadwick Boseman is playing the central role. Other cast members include, Michael B. Jordan, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira and Martin Freeman. You can check out the latest trailer below.
