Since the start of the presidential campaign, US President Donald Trump has been one of the most prominent users of Twitter and despite having a large number of apparent critics, recently Twitter’s CEO said that the network won’t be blocking the US President. And now, news site Axios has claimed that the smartphone of US president has one visible app. Unsurprisingly, the only app in his phone is Twitter.
The site claimed, “Top White House officials tell me the key to forcing a more disciplined President Trump (like the one onstage overseas) is limiting his screen time. In Trump’s case, it’s curtailing his time watching TV and banging out tweets on his iPhone.”
“Trump himself has been pushing staff to give him more free time. But staff does everything it can to load up his schedule to keep him from getting worked up watching cable coverage, which often precipitates his tweets. It has worked well overseas so far.”
Back during his administration, former US president Barack Obama said that he wasn’t allowed to have an iPhone however, he was allowed to use iPad. Given that Trump was using Samsung’s old device that was insecure, iPhone was seen as a better option. This is one of the most interesting revelation as the President previously asked to boycott all Apple products.
