Snapchat had made its ‘Max Reach’ feature in the United States for a while now and it’s been well received among advertisers. As the tool allows advertisers to reach out entire Snapchat user base, it can be a great method to reach audiences easily. However, up until now, the feature was available to advertisers from United States only. But the company has decided to roll out the feature for advertisers from UK and France as the company wants to increase its advertiser base to help its sluggish financial results from the first quarter.
With the newly rolled out feature, advertisers from UK and France now can reach entire Snapchat user base to improve brand awareness. In case you aren’t familiar with the functionality, the Max Reach feature allows advertisers to reserve advertising spaces across the app’s Discover, Out Stories and User Stories for specific ads. However, in order to use the feature, brands will need to be using the Snap Ads function which supports full screen advertisements with sounds.
Despite the recent slowdown of the application, according to the parent company, more than 158 million people around the world use the application to share their everyday moments. As a result, advertisers can reach a large number of consumers with the max reach feature. However, if you want to use an advertising spot, you will need to reserve a place at least one month advance and the availability depends on demands. If everything’s fine, then the advertisement will be feature across Snapchat users for a day.
Although it might seem that there isn’t enough opportunity for advertiser to reach audiences with the feature, the company had found that an average user opens Snapchat more than 18 times a day meaning an ad might catch users’ attention unlike other advertising solutions.
