After Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 fiasco, a lot of people were concerned if the company will be able to keep its place as a leading smartphone manufacturer despite imminent release of the company’s flagship device back in April. However, when the company started shipping the S8 earlier in April, all of these doubts vanished away Samsung went on to record new number of shipments of the device around the world.
Before the device was officially released back in April 21st, Samsung managed to receive more than one million pre-orders for the Galaxy S8 in South Korea alone. And now, the company has revealed that the new device is selling twice as fast as the last flagship device Galaxy S7.
The latest device has attracted similar responses from consumers around the world who liked the new device. The company recently confirmed that the have managed to ship more than 10 million units of the flagship device since its launch. As iPhone 8 release is still months away, the Galaxy S8 is expected to break previous records for the company’s flagship device sales.
