If a post in Reddit to be believed, Radiohead is set to release one of its previously unreleased track, ‘I Promise’ with the expanded reissue with ‘OK Computer’ later this week.
If you are familiar with the band’s works, then you might know that the song made it to the set list back in 1996 but never managed to get an official release. While OK Computer features several abstract ideas, ‘I Promise’ on the other hand follows the aftermath of the couple’s argument.
If the post is indeed true, then fans might just hear the live version of the song again as Radiohead will kick of its European tour later on June 7th. As a part of the tour, the band will headline Glastonbury Festival on June 23 when the fill person of the album is coming out.
Radiohead’s official website has mentioned that the upcoming album will feature three unreleased songs. The site says, “Rescued from defunct formats, prised from dark cupboards and brought to light after two decades in cold storage… OK COMPUTER: the original twelve track album, three unreleased tracks and eight B-sides, all newly remastered from the original analogue tapes.”
