Few weeks earlier, during his promotion of upcoming movie Alien: Covenant during a podcast at MTV, Michael Fassbender hinted that he is likely to return to reprise his role as Magneto in the upcoming movie although there wasn’t any confirmation yet. Recently, CinemaBlend had chance to talk with producer hutch Parker who answered to the question if both Magneto and Mystique will return to the sequel. Earlier last month, rumors surfaced that several other characters are set to return although the character of Rouge won’t see Anna Paquin. When asked about the rumors, hutch Parker said, “We’re all sorting out exactly which mutants will be part of it, and which ones won’t. It is a bit more expansive than… obviously Logan was a bit more intimate of a story. This one’s a bit more expansive, and you know the comics, so you know how and why. We’re still kind of sorting that through.”
As of now, there hasn’t been lot of confirmation regarding the casting members of the movie. Givne that the movie has an official release date of November 2, 2018, we should hear more regarding the casting of the movie soon.
