Back in 2012 when Arrow aired its first season, few would have predicted that the universe will grow to kick-off three more seasons in the coming years. The expansion began in 2014 with The Flash and it has become one of the most popular shows at present. While the storyline in the third season contained major flaws, it still continued to be a success. Several executive producers at the time period have played major role in making the show so popular and now, reports have confirmed that one of the major personnel behind the scene Aaron Helbing will be leaving the show after season 3.
Recently, CW confirmed that Aaron will be leaving the show following season three finale. Earlier rumors started surfacing that the show will continue without his involvement as the season four page of imdb listed Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, Sara Schechter, and Todd Helbing as executive producers.
However, his reason for departure isn’t known and it will be worthwhile to see how much impact his departure have on the show. Over The Flash’s first three seasons, the producer had a major role to play in making the show extremely popular among viewers. However, this season the show has seemingly lost its touch with poor storytelling. As a result, the departure might have a major effects than we are expecting. We will know for sure when the show returns in the fall if The Flash manages to start catching attention of television viewers after third season which has clearly been a disappointment so far.
