Back in 2015, Blindspot was one of the biggest new shows on television when it debuted but experienced downward trend in rating in the second season. While the first season of the show averaged nearly 7 million viewers, the second season proved to be a disappointment as it averaged only around 5 million viewers throughout the season. Despite the significant drop, NBC has decided to renew the show for another season.
In case you didn’t know, Blindspot features story of a mysterious woman known as Jane who can’t remember anything except her whole body is tattooed with complex ciphers that contain her history along with the future of the universe the show is taking place in. After FBI learns that the tattoos contain information of future, she started working with FBI to figure out her past with her skills as a fighter and the info she can provide thanks to her tattoos and whatever memories resurface.
The show went through some bigger changes throughout the second season and it’ll be interesting to see how the show goes until the finale as there is still a bit left of the current season. Blindspot airs at 8 P.M. on Wednesday on NBC.
