Apple is known for introducing its major products and features during the annual WWDC conferences and recently, the company confirmed its return to the San Jose’s McEnery Convention Center. And now, Apple has confirmed the keynote speech at the same location on 5th of June at 10am local time.
The conference is set to start with keynote speech from the CEO Tim Cook followed by speeches from third party developers. The event is also set to debut new versions of iOS and macOS as well as boosts to its tvOS and watchOS platforms.
Although over the years the event has brought major updates for consumers, this year the company might announce smart speakers powered by Siri as smart homes become increasingly popular among everyone.
Unlike previous years, the company announced the event with a short monologue. It said, “Technology alone is not enough. Technology must intersect with the liberal arts and the humanities to create new ideas and experiences that push society forwards.”
“This summer we bring together thousands of brilliant minds representing many diverse perspectives, passions, and talents to help us change the world.”
