Alan Wake Franchise Being Removed Digitally Due to Music License Expiration

If you are thinking of buying Alan Wake, make sure to get the title before May 15th as Remedy Entertainment has recently announced that the title will be removed from digital stores on the day due to expiring music license.

However, the hit game’s physical editions will still be on sale and in case you bought the game earlier, you won’t have any issue running the game. The company recently sent out a Twitter than mentioned that the game will be taken off from both Steam and Xbox Live.

However, before going off the list, Remedy has decided to launch a Sunset Sale and now oyou can get the entire franchise for a discounted price. Both releases, Both games – Alan Wake and Alan Wakes American Nightmare are currently on sale this weekend as you can get both of the games for just $4.

Although the game was released way back in 2010 for Xbox 360, Alan Wake is still considered to be one of the best games of last generation thanks to its impressive storytelling, and its horror-like gameplay.
