Samsung Rolls Out Android 7.0 Nougat Update for Galaxy Tabs

Although it’s been quite a while since the Android Nougat became available for users, up until now, Samsung didn’t update a large number of devices. However, the company has decided to update the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 to latest Android operating system. Although the update is available for users in the Europe, it suggests that users around the world will get the update in the coming days.

According to latest reports, the update has started to reach users from Germany and Italy as the company noted in its announcement, “After rolling out the Nougat update to its high-end smartphones, Samsung has started rolling out the Android 7.0 update to the Galaxy Tab S2.”

The update brings a variety of new features including Gamer Launcher app which will be automatically installed with the Android Nougat Update. Aside from this, the update also includes enhanced quick notification buttons to increase user experience of the device. Apart from that, the tablets will receive overall performance boosts.

Although reports started circulating back in last year that the devices will receive updates pretty soon starting new year, the users had to wait a long time to receive the update. However, with the update coming to the devices now, you might not need to wait for much longer if you are currently using one of the two models and waiting to receive the much anticipated update.
