When Google launched its own Smartphones, it came with the guarantee that users of the device would be the first to use the latest features from the Android. It also meant that sometimes you might have to face problems with the smartphone due to incomplete fixes. It seems to be the case as latest user complaints confirm that some Pixel and Nexus owners are having issues with their devices as the fingerprint sensor have stopped working on some devices.

These complaints come from the official forum posting and currently the Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 5, and Nexus 6P are affected by the update. However, Google doesn’t have any fixes for the problem as off now and asked other users with the devices to post more details in order to find a solution to the problem.

If you are currently using the devices and having similar issues, you can go to official forum to report the details and make it easier for the company to solve the problem. On the other hand, if you are yet to receive the update, you might want to hold on for a while to make sure you don’t run into same issues.
