Netflix originals have been major revelations for the audiences as most of the shows have managed to gain pretty solid ratings so far. However, given that there aren’t enough series for horror genre, the network has decided to bring Shirley Jackson’s The Haunting of Hill House back to small screen.
The Haunting of Hill House follows similar storytelling as Paranormal Activity as it describes lives of a group of people who come together in a haunted house to test out reported paranormal activities. Although the network has ordered 10 episodes rather than the usual 13 episodes for the original, if the show perform as expected, it’ll be difficult to see why the network will not decide to increase the episode counts for the following seasons.
While it is unknown when we will get to see the series making its way to audiences, there should be a lot of details coming in your way in the next few months. With current seasons for a lot of popular shows are coming to an end pretty soon, it will be interesting to see if the network decides to premier the horror during off season to attract more audiences.
