Last summer, Google reported that the company was working on its highly useful Google Photos app to add stabilization feature to make it easier to shoot videos. After testing the feature, the company has decided to ship out the feature to users with its latest update.
If you open a video in the app, you can select the pen icons to bring out the editing options where you can select the stabilize option to start the process. While the process can take longer depending on the size of the file, users have started to report that the app performs pretty well considering the app fixes the video by cropping each frame to make the videos more stable. However, the latest feature shouldn’t be your only move to make a video better as stabilizing the camera during shooting should be your first priority.
The latest update is clearly one of the apps’ biggest improvement aside from unlimited photo storage. Earlier on Monday, another update had started to reach iPhone users but in iOS update doesn’t feature the aforementioned update.
