Back in January when Gigabyte first announced its line of new mini PCs during the Consumer Electronics Show, it certainly got computer enthusiasts’ attentions and recently the company has added the devices to the official website. And recently, the company has announced that they are bringing two fanless comptuers to its BRIX line of mini PCs.
Gigabyte is positioning the little computers as the perfect fit for IoT applications likes of digital signage, point of sales systems, internet kiosks, and other commercial uses. However, the recently announced BRIX BRIX GB-EACE-3450 and GB-EAPD-4200 can meet your computing needs at home depending on your requirements. BRIX GB-EACE-3450 packs a Celeron N3450 processor while the GB-EAPD-4200 uses Pentium N4200 chip to match your needs. Although they are fanless, both of the PCs use passive cooling features for silent operations.
The computers support M.2 solid state storage, up to 8GB of DDR3L RAM. As for ports, it features 2 HDMI ports, a headset jack, 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 and four USB 3.0 ports along with microSD card slot. With a 6 watt quad-core processors and Intel HD graphics, you can easily use these computers as media center or home file servers.
