Although Drake’s More Life’s sales figure went down 40 percent compared its second week’s sales, the album is still the No. 1 in the Billboard’s top 200.
Although the album is currently available as download only, the album is experiencing success due to its strong streaming activities. While the album’s 111,000 units are SEA, the album also totaled at 16,000 for traditional album sales as well as 9,000 TEA units. As a result of this, the initial release date for CD release has been pushed back from its original March 31 release date.
Other albums in the list are also experiencing decent results as Ed Sheeran’s Divide is currently at No. 2 for third consecutive week while Kodak Black arrived at no. 3 with his Painting Pictures. Bruno Mars experienced a decent week as his 24K magic rose from 6 to 4 while the Beauty and the Beast soundtrack dropped to 5th place in the chart.
In the top 10, other albums are, Mastodon’s Emperor of Sand bows, Future’s self-titled album at No. 8, Migos’ Culture at 9 and lastly, MercyMe’s new album Lifer is at no. 10.
