Fans of Star Trek franchise are eagerly waiting for the release of upcoming Star Trek: Discovery release as the movies have managed to capture audiences over last couple of years. However, as release of the Star Trek: Discovery has been delayed in the recent months, fans are eagerly waiting to hear if everything is going well behind the scenes and CBS Interactive’s president Marc DeBevoise has cleared any doubt we might have as he said that eh production is going pretty well so far.
Talking to Vulture, he said, “It’s going great, I’ve actually been up there [to the set]. It is, you know, phenomenal. It is huge. And we’re very excited about the content, the creators, the actors, all coming together. As you said, we’re not tied to any specific release date. It’ll be there when we’re ready to do it, and when we feel it’s in a great place. We’re not worried about anything here. We’re excited, and we’ll have more specifics as we get closer to what will likely be the release dates.”
As the upcoming installment is going to serve as a prequel to main Star Trek, fans are pretty eager to know how the story will turn out. As of now, not a lot regarding the show is known except that we will see how U.S.S Discovery travels through cosmos as they try to find new life and civilizations. However, it’s likely that we will hear more about the production in the coming weeks.
