After a long wait, users of Dropbox are finally getting their hands on one of the best features of the app for iOS. Although iPhone users were using the feature for a long period of time, Android didn’t get the same update as developing cross-platform apps can take significantly longer than you might expect.
The company announced earlier, Our Dropbox mobile app for Android has a new feature that makes it easy. The doc scanner—one of the most popular features on our iOS app—now allows you to scan printed or handwritten docs right from your phone. Plus, you can crop or rotate your scans to capture exactly the right image, and even scan multiple pages into a single PDF.”
While there are already a bunch of applications to scan and share images, if you use Dropbox to store and share documents or other files with others, then this latest update should increase your user experience for your smartphone. Dropbox also revealed that you can get even more out of the newly introduced feature for Android if you are on Dropbox Business team as you can search for keywords inside the scanned images.
