Call of Duty: WW2 to Feature Zombies in Co-Op Mode

Yesterday, Activision and Sledgehammer games revealed next installment in the Call of Duty series with the Call of Duty: WW2. For last several years, installments in the Series has been featuring futuristic technologies as well as zombies. The upcoming installment will be no different as Activision and Sledgehammer Games confirmed that we’ll get a Nazi Zombies co-op mode as part of the game.

Apart from this, they didn’t confirm any significant details as more details regarding the game will come at a later date. As of now though, the game is a co-operative game set in the era of World War II. The short description of the storyline says:

“The definitive World War II next generation experience also introduces Nazi Zombies, an all-new cooperative mode featuring a unique standalone storyline set during World War II that’s full of unexpected, adrenaline-pumping action.”

In addition to the original announcement, Activision also confirmed that there will be three different editions for the upcoming game. They are:

Base Edition and Digital Base Edition ($59.99 USD)

Digital Deluxe Edition ($99.99 USD) – Includes Season Pass “and more”

Pro Edition ($99.99 USD; GameStop exclusive in the US) – Includes Season Pass, collectible Steelbook, “and more”

As Call of Duty: WW2 is set to arrive for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on November 3, understandably, the season pass for the game will arrive in next year. However, Activision said, “Season Pass content is not final, is subject to change, and may not include all downloadable content available for the game.” The publishers are expected to reveal more details in the coming months.

With the official release of the game is more than half a year away, we’ll have to wait a long time before we can see what are the new gameplay features are included in the game.
