Earlier on Thursday, the McDonald’s official Twitter account posted a critical tweet that discussed about the president while pointing the size of his hands. As the Twitter account has more than 150,000 followers, it went pretty viral and attracted attention of the users. However, the company said today that they were aware of the hack and currently investigating the cause of it. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, McDonald’s spokesperson said,

“Based on our investigation, we have determined that our Twitter account was hacked by an external source. We took swift action to secure it, and we apologize this tweet was sent through our corporate McDonald’s account.”

The tweet said,

“@RealDonaldTrump you are actually a really disgusting excuse for a president and we would love to have @BarackObama back, also you have tiny hands.”
