Although it’s been quite a while since Apple introduced its desktop operating system, it seems that the company has no intention from moving away from the version 10 and recent reports suggest that Apple’s next version of macOS is expected to be known as 10.13 and there’s no plan on jumping to macOS 11 as of now. Unless there is massive changes in the operating system, it’s highly unlikely that the company will ditch the version of the operating system.
Recently, version 10.13 was included in the url of the company website and given that the current version of the operating system is 10.12, it makes sense that the company has included 10.13 in its website. However, Apple is yet to confirm the name of the update and given that the company is using different landmarks based in US, it’s anyone guess what will be the upcoming name.
Despite these rumors, there is no confirmation just yet when we will get our hands on the macOS 10.13. However, given that the company’s annual WWDC just few months away, there’s a good chance that we will learn more about the next major update during the conference. Given that Apple typically releases major updates after the conference and by the end of the year, such rumors seem to hold the ground after all.
