Several reports have emerged in the last few days that Samsung was preparing for Android Nougat for its flagship S6 edge+ ahead of the release of the S8 and according to reports today, the rollout has officially started prior to the release of Galaxy S8 next week.
Like previous times, consumers from Turkey will be the first to get the Nougat update on the smartphone where Samsung published an official plan back in February how the company is planning on upgrading the operating systems of different smartphone models. Earlier last week, Galaxy note5 received the update. The rollout shouldn’t take too long before all of the consumers get the official update but it might take little bit longer depending on the smartphone carriers as it was seen in the past.
After rolling out the update for the S8, Samsung is planning on releasing the Nougat for other models and next in line is Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A8. However, you might need to wait quite a long period of time in case you own one of these two models.
