In recent days of Chicago Auto Show, we’ve already seen several different models for upcoming cars and concepts. Nissan has decided to join the list as the company recently introduced their Midnight Edition to 6 fresh models for the coming model year including the Rogue, Murano, Pathfinder, Sentra SR, Altima SR as well as Maxima SR.
This is unsurprising given that the Midnight Edition has been a massive success with the Maxima SR as more than 75% of the sold vehicles were equipped with the package. The package adds distinct styling characteristics that the U.S. market has eaten up, digging its 19″ aluminum alloy wheels as well as black rear spoiler and diffuser. Due to the massive success, Nissan has decided to include the Midnight Edition to a majority of its other popular models.
Although details differ from model to model, they carry a similar theme. For example, each of them gains wheel choices specific to the Midnight edition as well as color choices for different vehicles.
With this move, the company hopes to see increased sales across all models. Given the popularity of the Maxima SR, it won’t be surprising to see if sales figures meet the expectations of one of the highest volume automakers of the world.
