Galax Releases Its Half Height 1050s To Match Your Need

If you are a gamer or use graphics intense software, you need a decent graphics card. As most of the modern graphics cards tend to age pretty quickly, if you are in the market to upgrade your computer’s graphics card or buying for the first time, Galax has announced two new models of graphics card which might be able to match all of your needs.

Recently, the company has released two different models that use GTX 1050 and 1050Ti chipsets. The newly released models GTX 1050 OC LP and 1050 Ti OC LP are overclocked by quite a bit as 1050 model runs at a stable 1,468 MHz and the Ti model can boost up to 1,471 MHz if necessary from the baseline 1,303 MHz. If you are planning on buying one of the models, then you can choose from either 2GB RAM or 4 GB RAM (only Ti Model).

While there isn’t any mention of price or release date as of now, you can expect to pay around $120 for the 1050 and $145 for the 1050Ti. Such price will be pretty competitive given that both of the cards feature great specifications.

Both of the cards will come with DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0b, and dual-link DVI-D and dual-link DVI-D. However, you will have only one port for each category in case you are wondering. Since the cards are half-height, it’s fair and you will need to look for better options for multi-display set. The upcoming cards will be energy efficient since they will run only through PCIe slots that can easily meet their 75W load.
